What are the DISP membership levels?

The Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) is a security program designed to provide defence industry participants with a framework for managing their security requirements. The program is designed to ensure that the security requirements of the Australian Government are met and that the security of sensitive information and assets is maintained. The DISP has four membership levels which are designed to ensure that defence industry participants meet the security requirements of the Australian Government. The four levels are: Entry Level (Official/Official: Sensitive): This is the most basic level of membership and is suitable for those who are dealing with information and assets that are not considered to be sensitive. This level of membership requires basic security measures such as physical security measures, personnel security measures, and security governance measures. Level 1 (Protected): This level of membership is suitable for those who are dealing with information and assets that are considered to be sensitive. This level of membership requires more stringent security measures such as physical security measures, personnel security measures, and security governance measures. Level 2 (Secret): This level of membership is suitable for those who are dealing with information and assets that are considered to be highly sensitive. This level of membership requires even more stringent security measures such as physical security measures, personnel security measures, and security governance measures. Level 3 (Top Secret): This level of membership is suitable for those who are dealing with information and assets that are considered to be extremely sensitive. This level of membership requires the most stringent security measures such as physical security measures, personnel security measures, and security governance measures. The DISP membership levels are designed to ensure that defence industry participants meet the security requirements of the Australian Government. The higher the level of membership, the more stringent the security requirements. It is important that defence industry participants understand the security requirements of each level of membership and ensure that they are meeting these requirements. .
