James Murray-Beckman

James Murray-Beckman is an established executive with over 19 years of experience in leading multinational teams and overseeing strategic financial management in the ICT and E-learning industries. As the new Chief Operating Officer of 6clicks, James plays a crucial role in ensuring efficiency and stability in the company’s day-to-day operations and supporting its growth and profitability by working hand in hand with multiple departments. 

From sales and marketing to product management and global operations, James’ versatility and digital expertise enabled him to build an impressive career that spans diverse fields. Being the former General Manager and COO of digital credential provider, Digitary, James scaled the company’s revenue worldwide before being acquired by Parchment International. 

He also delivered increased revenue for mobile technology and advertising company, Digital Turbine as its General Manager, handling profit & loss for its Australian and New Zealand offices, product development, and operations and partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region. Aside from that, he was the Head of Online & Mobile for E-learning provider, SEEK Learning, and has taken on various leadership roles for several telecommunications companies namely Telstra and Optus. 

In his previous roles, James always went above and beyond his responsibilities and dedicated himself to learning and innovation. He was a member of various organizations and committees such as the Post-Secondary Electronic Standards Council (PESC). He was also a key contributor to the National Blockchain Roadmap Digital Credentials Working Group run by the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science, Energy, and Resources. 

With a Master of Business Administration and Master of International Management degrees from the Macquarie Business School, James’ professional achievements and compelling credentials are backed by his extensive expertise in business and technology. He is a certified Agile Product Owner and holds various certifications in sales, blockchain, project management, and corporate sustainability.
