The only downside to ServiceNow that I have experienced is that the tool is not the same for every company. Therefore, it makes it a bit difficult to do a knowledge transfer.
I don't think the ServiceNow GRC tool is the most user friendly compared to similar GRC tools such as Archer.
Expensive and complex for what it can do. Integrates with other ServiceNow products, but licensing and support make it not cost effective to use.
We almost went down this route, but cost v benefit was minimal. We ran a pilot with a company called Compyl and their product was way more suitable for our needs and significantly cheaper than usage of ServiceNow.
