Introducing Solcis, our new sister company

Sydney, Australia – 21 October 2026. Today marks the launch of Solcis, a new company spun out of 6clicks and spearheaded by 6clicks co-founders Anthony Stevens and Louis Strauss. Solcis is our sister company: it shares our owners, but operates as a separate business with its own team, platform and infrastructure.

Solcis is the open compliance layer for AI, built for compliance teams. It works alongside 6clicks, enforcing the obligations and controls you manage there on every action your AI agents take.

Why we built Solcis

6clicks runs your governance, risk and compliance (GRC) programme, with AI built in to streamline tasks like evidence collection and review. Now that programme has to cover AI agents, which move money, touch customer data and make decisions in milliseconds. Holding them to your compliance obligations means enforcing in the path of every action, which requires a different technology stack.

When we looked for ways to enforce compliance on AI agents, we found plenty of security tools, but nothing built for compliance. Open runtime enforcement engines such as NVIDIA OpenShell and Microsoft's Agent Governance Toolkit are great at controlling what agents can access.

But an agent that approves a payment or handles personal data carries the same obligations as the person who did that job, from privacy to financial crime to prudential regulation. Those engines don't know the obligations, or prove you met them.

So we built Solcis for that one job: compliance enforcement and evidence.

How Solcis works

The Solcis team have released two products that work together.

Solcis Compliance Studio is the control centre. It's where your compliance team turns obligations into policies: the rules every agent action is checked against in real time. It also manages where they're enforced.

Those policies are enforced in two ways:

  • Through the open guardrails, such as NVIDIA OpenShell and Microsoft Agent Governance Toolkit. Compliance Studio extends them from security to compliance, using the enforcement capability already built into them.
  • Through the Solcis Policy Engine, Solcis's own enforcement engine. It sits in the direct path of agent actions via the Solcis SDK or Gateway, and returns an Allow, Deny or Escalate-to-human decision without slowing agents down.

Each decision comes with a tamper-evident receipt stored on the Universal Evidence Ledger that auditors and regulators can verify independently.

The Policy Engine's code is also open to audit under the Functional Source License, because you can't govern a black box with a black box.

How 6clicks and Solcis work together

6clicks is where your compliance programme lives: obligations, controls, risks, audits, vendor assessments, incidents and more. Solcis extends it to AI agents in three steps:

  1. Obligations and controls are defined once. Your compliance team maintains them in 6clicks. A connector brings them into Solcis Compliance Studio, where the team turns them into policies that define what agents can and cannot do.
  2. Solcis enforces those policies on every agent action. Live, through the open guardrails you already run or the Solcis Policy Engine.
  3. Evidence flows back. Every compliance receipt lands in 6clicks against the obligation and control it relates to.

The result: one compliance programme across your people, processes, tooling and AI agents
